The designer’s vision is to present a collection in which each style is fashion-show worthy, head turning, traffic stopping. The drama of an entire couture collection, a world of research, passion and sophistication summed up in an exquisite pair of shoes.

The collection is a distillation of his personal ideals of femininity. Every concept of the collection, from silhouettes to detailing and fabrication has been honed through many seasons of working for other labels alongside experts in Italian footwear manufacture.

David Wyatt has been a fashion designer for fourteen years. His work has taken him to Milan, New York, Paris and London where he has worked for several major brands. Seven years into his career he turned his attention from women‘s wear to women’s shoes. He has developed a true passion for them.

Autumn Winter 2011

The David Wyatt Autumn Winter 2011 collection is an engraved invitation to a weekend at the manor house/chateau/schloss where the enigmatic and fascinating Miss Scarlet will be attending a dinner celebrating luxury in a film noir atmosphere of intrigue and scandal.

Her choice of colours are inspired by the deep claret and rich burgundy of the fine wines being served with an accent of sparkling champagne.

The textures are glorious butter soft nappas and suedes, shiny eel and python, velvety pony skin or dazzling lame and gold lace.

Her silhouette is high drama poised on platforms or pretty in peep toes with kitten heels all the better to steal down hallways after dark. Perhaps she is a spy? A secret heiress? An illicit lover? She is the sensuous heroine of a winter drama and she will enchant and mystify in equal measure....

Spring / Summer 2010

The David Wyatt Spring/Summer 2010 collection is an escape to something brighter, a trip to somewhere hot and exciting!
Sunshine yellow, lacquer red and deep magenta are used in dynamic combinations contrasting matt against shine. Inspired by the exotic climate of a summer night in a city on the beach, Miami, Rio, Barcelona.

Flashy leopard prints are taken to graphic extremes mixed with white patent or black suede for the strong confident woman who will accessorize them with a bikini and a cocktail. Racy and sculptural shapes taken to new dramatic excess in acid python or fabulous feathers worn straight from an all night disco to an all day beach bar.

Towering platforms and dainty points with high heels in sensuous curves are the perfect silhouette to set against a crystal clear sky and a sparkling azure sea, on board a yacht or better yet a speed boat, a cliff top villa hosting an exclusive party where everyone’s invited.

Autumn Winter 2009

Shiny mock-croc pumps bristling with studs, golf shoe fringes for the strictly off-course. Luxury riding boots more at home in a cab than on horseback.

The colour palette includes a rich forest green and a burnished rust for day in suede and calf. Evening dictates black and gold with fuchsia accents in satin, velvet and kid with exotic plumes and serpents.

Eveningwear is an event, a glittering party where dramatic and architectural silhouettes are balanced with an intelligent ode to the bow in all it’s guises, formal or playful. They compliment the stand out woman who will be arriving fashionably on time.

Spring/Summer 2009

The spring summer 2009 debut collection pays particular attention to the baroque richness of European treasure houses reinterpreted for the modern woman. Sumptuous satins and laces side by side with luxurious feather embroideries under glossy veneers.

Dainty or dramatic bows for unashamed femininity ornamenting seductive curvilinear heels with not a straight line in sight. Some styles more strict and evoking a daring working woman in touch with her playful side, others a study in pure frivolity to decorate and amuse.

Colours evoke a late 70s couture studio; fuchsia pink, cobalt blue, black, cream and yellow gold.
